The suggested way to read is to read each ep and not skipping the Tea Parties or ???? bits at the end as they hold vital information for the next episode. The only downside I can think of is that the culprit was obvious from the Banquet of the Golden Witch arc or Ep2, doesn't make it less enjoyable though imo.Cannot wait for Umineko Gold.. Just the best story I've ever read. Well here we are, finally to the second half of Umineko! As someone who has personally read Chiru before anyone even dreamed of it being localized, I must say, this most certainly feels like a dream to me. As a sequel to the original four novels, Chiru shifts from focusing on crazy locked rooms and insane banter between a witch and a guy who should really learn to get over himself, to focusing on why Beatrice would even create such a bloody tale and what her identity really is. I won't mince words, Umineko Chiru has at times been derided in the VN community as being pretentious, overly convoluted and bit weird at times. And while I won't deny the aspect of Chiru being convoluted at times, I implore readers to have an open mind.Umineko Chiru is exceptionally unique among VNs, it tackles a lot of the subjects that first four episodes had touched upon but done in a much more sublime way, especially when it tackles the newer subjects-all of which will not only make you think about the meaning of the game as a whole, but also stop to introspect yourself at timesWhile the murder mystery and logic battles are still here and are all fun and good, expect them to take a bit of backseat for now. You job as a reader and a detective is not to figure out the howdunnit, but also the who and whydunnit. This is not a game between Battler and Beatrice anymore, but between you and the author. So in that regard, I say you should stay on your toes while reading Chiru as it will not be getting easierAnd I guess as a parting note....while I do understand some of the frustrations people have had with Chiru, I can say without a single doubt that Umineko Chiru is the heart and soul of Umineko. Without it, you could say that while Umineko was entertaining in the same way Death Note was, it never reached that level of lets say....Evangelion didSo to the person who is reading this, I can guarantee that Chiru is outstanding. Sure its not as solid as the previous four, but Chiru is most certainly a marvel the same way Frankenstein was a marvel despite its numerous flaws-and I say that Chiru's high points are exponentially higher than any of the previous four's or even Higurashi's.So honestly, enjoy yourself reader. Take it all in. Try and solve the mystery of who Beatrice is and why she created this game. You may not enjoy all of it-but I can say for sure you will at the very least be thinking differently when you finish. But most importantly, you should never loose sight of what's important and never forget the heart.. Best visual novel I have ever read. Now let's hope Gold edition becames a thing. As someone who mainly seeks good story lines in games / tv / movies ect, I thought that overly complex plots from things like metal gear solid reached the highest point any story could be taken. Oh how I was wrong. If you're reading this, chances are you've already read the question arcs and are already dead set on reading this one too. So I wanted to add there's one thing I expected to be included in the ending, but wasn't. Although if I had the choice of adding it in I would still choose to leave it out. I can't say what the thing is, or why I would leave it out, without spoiling it. So yeah just don't expect everything to be answered at the end.Despite alot of people saying this is the inferior half, I still really enjoyed it just as much as the first half.. Part 2 of the Umineko VN. There's really not much to be said about it.Absolutely stay away from this if you have not played Part 1 (the "Question Arcs")!!If you have played them, you won't need a recommendation for this one :P. To those of you contemplatingbuying this game, I say this and only this."Without love, it cannot be seen."If you were ever captivated by two questions as a gamer and those questions were:1. What can change the nature of a man?2. What is the solution to Schodinger's cat? Then i think you will enjoy this game immensely.. A masterpiece, capable of changing your way of thinking.. Dabbing goatS. one of the only things to make me cry like a ♥♥♥♥♥. Thank god I was alone at the time.
